Wavecom – With wave in the name but no waves in the river
Wavecom is a communications engineering company that focuses on innovation and creating differentiating solutions. Founded in 2000, it quickly gained market recognition as a specialist in wireless technologies. Currently based in Aveiro, they have offices in Portugal, Spain and Africa.
The event took place on a sunny June day on the banks of the River Tagus, which provided the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable day. The guests boarded the Santo Amaro Recreational Dock and began their tour. The catamaran was ready to receive the group of 16 guests, all of whom held important positions, such as CEOs, Managing Directors and IT Directors. These personalities chose our company to enjoy a relaxing break while they enjoyed their last few days in Lisbon.
During the tour, guests enjoyed a relaxing atmosphere while savoring a selection of drinks and snacks. The work provided by the DJ helped to create the ideal atmosphere throughout the team-building activity.
Berg Lund & Company – From Germany to the Tagus River
Berg Lund & Company is a top management consultancy specializing in corporate strategy and digital transformation. Founded in 1999, it is constantly expanding its range of services. Currently based in Hamburg, it has a team of excellent and experienced professionals.
In July of this year, we had the privilege of welcoming this group of 40 German guests, employees of Berg Lund & Company, who were looking to strengthen their team spirit. To this end, they chose Lisbon Sight Sailing for their team-building activity.
During the two-hour walk, the group took the opportunity to “catch up on their tan” while enjoying a cold drink.
Summer is a fantastic time to visit Lisbon. Thanks to its climate and location, Portugal is known for having an average of almost 300 days of sunshine during the year. As such, this day was no exception.
To finish with the icing on the cake, the big surprise came when, during the tour, the guests spotted a group of dolphins swimming near the boat. There was much surprise, as for many, it was the first time they had witnessed such a moment – the perfect setting to end their stay in Lisbon!
Subsea7 – A day of renewed energy
Subsea7 is a global leader in the delivery of offshore projects and services to the energy industry, contributing to the growth of renewable and emerging energies. It has an established local presence in all of the world’s major offshore energy regions, with a presence in more than 30 countries.
With a duration of two and a half hours, the group of 27 guests of Portuguese and English origin embarked on this adventure with us. On board were employees of the organizing company and their clients. In addition, the guests were welcomed with music and a selection of refreshing drinks that helped create a “cozy” atmosphere.
During the boat trip, the group relaxed and enjoyed the breathtaking views of the city. It was an opportunity for everyone to learn a little more about Lisbon while enjoying the serenity of the Tagus River.
